Image Matters Inc. Owners Help Xerox Ring the Opening Bell on Wall Street

Sullivan and Bob Lovelace were among the valued business partners invited by Xerox® to ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange early last month. The event signified the split of Xerox into two separate publicly traded companies, Conduent, Inc., a business services company, and Xerox, a document technology company.

Image Matters, Inc., based in Knoxville, TN, has been in Xerox’s channel partner program since the creation of the program three years ago and is the only authorized digital technology channel partner for Xerox in the Eastern portion of the state, serving a 100-mile radius around Knoxville. The dealership is also one of the largest independent reseller of Xerox’s PageConnect Services, the company’s Managed Print Services offering, in the United States.   

“Image Matters has been an important strategic partner for Xerox®, in winning and managing many key accounts in Tennessee,” said Tom Gall, director channel marketing, Xerox. “We were honored to have their participation at the opening bell ceremony to highlight the importance of our channel partners.” 

“It was a privilege to travel to New York City for this historic event and it means a lot to be recognized by Xerox for our hard work in helping to grow the Xerox brand in our market,” said Lovelace.

“When we became a Xerox partner, Xerox had a 2% market share, now they have about a 12% market share as we’ve expanded their brand across Eastern Tennessee,” added Sullivan.

Lovelace and Sullivan are two of the founding members of the Xerox Dealer Council, and provide Xerox with critical input on an array of topics, including strategic initiatives related to pricing, the competitive nature of their supply chain along with insights into their business models.
